How to Use:
1. **Prepare:** Ensure female threads (nut or tapped hole) are clean, undamaged, and compatible. The pre-assembled washers eliminate the need for separate washers.
2. **Align:** Position components. The screw passes through the clearance hole in the top component.
3. **Insert:** The flat washer contacts the bearing surface; the spring washer sits between the flat washer and the screw head.
4. **Drive:** Use the **correct size Phillips screwdriver/bit** (e.g., PH2 for M5/M6). Drive clockwise.
5. **Tighten:** Tighten firmly until the spring washer is moderately compressed (flattened). This provides the locking action. **Do not over-compress** the spring washer, as this reduces its effectiveness.
6. **Function:** The **flat washer** distributes load and protects soft surfaces. The **spring washer** applies constant tension, resisting loosening from vibration or thermal changes.
